This is the final product in the blue-ish/white colors I'm going to use for the final print, and in the original colors. I chose to change the colors because the frame I'm using is pretty busy/intricate and I don't want the frame competing with the image.

I still don't really have a direction for this... I'm trying to think of some way to convey this idea, but I'm definitely struggling.

I'm not really sure what I want to do for the final project. I have two very preliminary ideas, but not a whole lot of direction. I'm thinking of either doing a self portrait that's about my identity as a sister - since my sisters are very important to me and have really shaped who I am and will continue to influence me the rest of my life and I, them.

OR

I took a public speaking class where we had to chose one topic to give four speeches on. my topic was homelessness in my hometown - asheville nc.  My second idea was to do something that is more of an awareness piece on the state of the city, how close it is to ending chronic homelessness and the gigantic task of ever really doing so.

I'm leaning towards the first idea at this point.
